Mission Statement

The International Society for Cellular Medicine (ISCM) is a non-profit international association of researchers, physicians and all health professionals dedicated to implementing, developing and promoting Cellular Medicine.

This new scientific approach to health, developed by Dr. Matthias Rath, focuses on research in cellular metabolism and essential nutrients in order to improve human health world wide.

The ISCM serves as an independent information platform enabling scientists and health professionals to access Cellular Medicine information and practical applications and other scientifically proven natural therapies worldwide.

The ISCM promotes education and knowledge in Cellular Medicine as a protection against unchallenged pharmaceutically sponsored research and clinical information.

Why do we need the International Society for Cellular Medicine (ISCM) ?

At the beginning of the new millennium, the scientific world has come to the realization that, after nearly one hundred years of pharmaceutical research and trillions of dollars in research spending, the incidence of the biggest disease epidemics currently facing mankind (cardiovascular disease and cancer) continues to rise dramatically. ICSM research members from all corners of the world recognize that the main reason for this failure lies not in the capacity of the research itself but in the direction that the research has taken and how the results of that research have been promoted to the medical community and the public. We have even reached the stage where medical education in universities is characterized by a complete lack of understanding of the development of diseases at the cellular level.

The basis of Cellular Medicine

Today, medicine is still divided into different disciplines according to the organs of the body. This approach fails to understand and completely ignores the fact that health and disease are not determined at the level of organs, but rather at the level of the millions of cells that make up these organs and the human body as a whole. The single most important reason for impairment of cell function, which ultimately leads to disease, is a chronic lack of bio-energy at the cellular level.

Since the concept of Cellular Medicine was founded by the world renowned scientist Dr. Matthias Rath and his research team , an overwhelming amount of research has been conducted that demonstrates how essential nutrients act in the prevention and treatment of today's most common diseases. Dr. Rath's scientific studies and research data make it abundantly clear that the leading causes of death in the industrialized nations, cardiovascular disease (CVD) and cancer, could both have been eradicated by natural means and without side effects more than a decade ago had it not been for the actions of the pharmaceutical cartel in withholding the key information about Cellular Medicine from the public and the scientific world, in an unprecedented information blockade and public relations war.

Defending human health

Because of this blockade, millions of students are still leaving medical school with only the barest knowledge of natural therapies and their effects in preventing disease and restoring human health. On the other hand, pharmaceutical drug based medical systems become ever more dependent upon aggressive intrusion into the human body of synthetic, patentable molecules that are poisonous and therefore highly dangerous to the human cellular metabolism. This is not a coincidence.

During the past 100 years a drug based medical system has been installed all over the world by the financial interest groups behind today's global pharmaceutical drug cartel. This trillion-dollar drug market is based on patented, synthetic drugs and favored over safe, effective but non-patentable natural therapies for one reason only: profit. By its very nature this “business with disease” cannot have the slightest interest in curing diseases by targeting their root causes at the cellular level. With every disease eradicated by natural, Cellular Medicine, a billion dollar market vanishes for the financial interest groups behind the pharmaceutical drug cartel. It is for this reason and this reason alone that crucial medical breakthroughs involving the use of natural therapies never reach doctors offices and that the public is kept in the dark by an extensive drug industry information blockade – only possible with the complicity of the media.

The billions of dollars spent annually on the promotion of pharmaceutical drugs and the drug based medical systems have caused serious misinformation within the medical profession due to an ever growing flood of pharmaceutically financed studies that are reported uncritically by the media. At the same time, the scientifically proven health benefits of natural therapies remain chronically underreported by the media or are simply dismissed out of hand.

The work of the ISCM will be based around the use of sophisticated electronic information distribution systems via the Internet and email but will also undertake the distribution of printed materials and the organization of public events, congresses and seminars for medical experts.
